Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
Connor has had a wonderful first Christmas...and his Christmas will continue for about another week! We started Christmas at home on Tuesday morning. We had our family Christmas with Mommy, Daddy and Connor on Tuesday morning before we started our 10 day trip over the southeast. Wednesday morning, we headed to Atlanta to have Christmas Eve with Jeremy's family at his grandparent's house. We haed a lot of fun with Gigi and Great-Granddaddy, Mimi and Bobbles, and all of Connor aunts, uncles, and cousins! After a busy, napless day in Atlanta, we headed to LaGrange. Connor was an angel all day, even without a nap! We had Christmas with Sunshine, Granddaddy, Ree and Stan this morning and then Jeremy and I enjoyed our second movie date of the year! Connor, of course, had a great time with Sunshine and Granddaddy! More family is heading to town tomorrow and we will celebrate Christmas with some of them this weekend. We are then heading to Huntsville for more Christmas celebrations at the beginning of next week! Connor will end up seeing almost all of his family in 10 days! So far, we're having a great 1st Christmas!!

What's going on at the White House?

I haven't blogged lately, so I'm going to catch up with a few pictures here! I don't like to blog unless I have cute pictures to show and it is hard to take cute pictures when you are constantly trying to keep an 11 month old off of the stairs! Yes, I know: we need to buy a gate for the stairs. Well, we did but, when we tried to install it we realized that unfortunately, our stairs were not made for babies. The baseboard of the stairs and the height of the banister make it impossible to put a gate on the stairs. So, after more gate searching, we decided to just put a gate in the den to limit him from going to the kitchen where the stairs are located. I'll just have to continue watching him near the stairs when we're in the kitchen! Connor was not too happy after his nap when he found the gate in the den and realized it prevented him from getting to the stairs!
Connor's been eating so well lately! Connor's been eating Cheerios since he was less than 7 months old and we have introduced different table foods throughout the past several months a little at a time, but he was still eating baby food until Thanksgiving. Since Thanksgiving, Connor has not had any baby food because he won't touch it! He only wants what Mommy and Daddy are eating! Some of his favorites include waffles, green beans, peas, mac & cheese, cheese quesadillas, poppy-seed chicken, grilled cheese, pasta, and bread! So far, he eats whatever we offer him! Hopefully, this will continue, but we'll see!

Well, here are a few pictures from the past couple of weeks!

Thanksgiving Week!

Connor and I had a busy couple of weeks. We traveled to LaGrange, then to Atlanta. Connor had lots of firsts: first trip to Fantasy in Lights at Callaway Gardens, first basketball game (LC game), first trip to The Varsity, and first Thanksgiving! I did not take as many pictures as I should have, but here are a few from our week. We had a blast with my family in LaGrange first and then Jeremy's family in Atlanta. Connor shopped and shopped and shopped all over Atlanta and he did a great job! He was a perfect angel the whole trip! We hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! Now, it's time to get ready for Christmas!
