"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd;
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back.
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win, it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."

Connor had SO much fun at his first Atanta Braves game! And, he was SO good the whole night! We arrived a little late, so Connor got seated with Granddaddy, while Sunshine, Jane Anne, and I headed to get hot dogs. It was way past Connor's normal dinner time, but he did not seem to notice! He ended up letting us sit ino our seats all the way until the 5th inning...much longer than I had expected. He ate, watched people, tomahawk chopped, and enjoyed Sunshine and Granddaddy before deciding it was time to walk around! During the 5th inning, Sunshine, Jane Anne, and I took Connor, Mills, Andrew, and Davis up to the "big coke" to "run the bases." Connor got to run the base, too. He loved it! Later, we headed down to first level for the big boys to hit in the batting cages and throw the baseball in the cages. Connor did not understand why he could not go in the cage and throw the ball like the big boys. I had to take him away before he got upset or barged his way in the cage! We found the Cartoon Network Tooner Field area for kids and ended the game playing in it. There was a miniture field for kids to play wiffle ball. Connor loved running the bases with Granddaddy. He had so much fun the whole night! We finally left the game around 11:00 p.m. and he was still wide awake and happy as can be! He zonked out around 11:30 on the ride home and slept past 9:30 the next morning!
I cannot wait for our next chance to go to a game with Connor. We wish Daddy could have gone with us, but hopefully next time!
Go Braves!
