Our little beach bum baby had so much fun on the beach! He LOVED the water and the sand immediately. I was worried about how he would do with the sand and the ocean because he was scared of the ocean last summer (loved the beach, hated the ocean). But, there was no need to worry about how he would like it. I needed to worry though because he has NO FEAR of the ocean! He would just walk right in until we stopped him or grabbed his hand. He would grab Daddy or Granddaddy's hand to lead them out into the deeper water!
Little Bam Bam:
Connor has become attached at the hip to his huge wiffle ball bat. Connor has several small bats that are just his size, but he LOVES his big wiffle ball bat that Granddaddy got him (after he played with his cousins' bat and would not give it back)! So, we took the bat to the beach. We thought we would play with the bat and ball up in the sand, but Connor wanted to play with it in the water, too! He even took it to the pool. He has learned that the big bat is an outdoor bat, but he LOVES it and wants to play with it all the time. He can basically throw the ball up and hit it himself! He throws the ball towards the bat and hits it over and over and over again! It is really cute to watch. He has pretty impressive hand eye coordination!
