I wanted some pictures of Kyle near his 3rd birthday, so I took him out last Monday to Hammond's Ferry in North Augusta for some pictures. He was his typical 2 year old...almost 3 year old self and did not sit still for many pictures and I didn't have Jeremy standing over my shoulder trying to get him to look at the camera and make him laugh. But, I did get a few good ones like this one.
And, I got several like the ones below. He found several bugs that he was really interested in touching and watching. And, although these pictures are not beautiful, they are glimpses at who he is at almost 3 years old!
He is a beautiful, handsome, outgoing, silly little boy. And, I am so thankful for him!
I still want to get Jeremy to go out with me to help corral him, but I will probably wait until the weather cools and the leaves change colors. Hopefully I can get a Christmas card picture of both of them sometime soon!
We'll be enjoying our one last weekend with a two year old. And, then he will be THREE! How is that possible!?
My good friend Annette's little girl is turning five years old in a couple of weeks, so she asked me take some pictures of Lydia for her birthday. We headed to the canal yesterday and she was the perfect subject! I am really happy with some of the pictures and I hope that Annette is too.
I took a LOT of pictures...way more than I expected to take. But, I also deleted a LOT of pictures when I went through to edit them. I did end up with plenty of pictures for Annette that I think she will like. However, in taking so many pictures in so many areas around the canal, I found a lot of issues that I need to work on. So, I will keep practicing! Here are some of my favorites though.
Also, I finally used my birthday and Christmas money to buy Lightroom (editing software), so I am trying to teach myself how to use it. Wish me luck!
