Today, we finished two weeks of celebrating Connor's birthday! We celebrated with his friends at his first "friends birthday party" ever! It was a lot of fun! We had the birthday party at a local Lego place called Bricks 4 Kidz. It was the perfect location for his party! We invited all of the little boys from Connor's class at school. The kids played a few games, had free play time, and were able to build their own Lego person and mini "jet plane" to take home. I think all of the kids had a great time!
We started off with free play time for the kids to explore as everyone arrived.
Once everyone had arrived, the kids had a contest in teams of two to see which team could build the tallest Lego tower. Connor and Austin won!
Later, there was a sorting contest. They competed two at a time. Each person had a pile of Lego's of five different colors and five bowls. They had to see how fast they could sort the Lego's by color into the bowls.
We had more free play time...
Then, it was CAKE time!
And, this is what Kyle looked like after a bright red cupcake!
Gift time is always fun!
They finished up with a little more free time and then they were able to build their take home figurines.
All of the kids signed a shirt for Connor. He is very excited about it!
The party was a big hit! Connor, Kyle, and all of their friends had a great time! I love seeing Connor and his friends interact. They've grown up so much!
The birthday (two) weeks are over! But, we've had a wonderful time celebrating Connor!
Thank you to everyone who has made Connor's sixth birthday the best one ever!
