The Last of Our Christmas Travels!

Our 12 nights/13 days of Christmas Vacation travels were wonderful, fun, and exhausting!  We had such a great time seeing everyone and spending so much time with both sides of our family.  The kids had a great time with their cousins!   We arrived home late afternoon last Saturday.  We spent three hours unpacking Christmas presents, reorganizing toys, and unpacking clothes.  Then, we spent Sunday afternoon taking down Christmas decorations.  Now, our house is back to normal and we're getting back into the groove of life!

The last few days of our trip to Huntsville were filled with celebrating Connor's 6th birthday, as well as having fun with all of Jeremy's family!

On Connor's actual birthday, we went to a restaurant at Bridge Street in Huntsville called "Connor's"!  We had gone there last summer when the boys and I visited Mimi and Bobbles and Connor has talked about wanting to go back over Christmas.  Connor loves eating at a place named after him!  :)  After lunch, we rode the carousel a few times which is always a hit for them!

Jeremy, Kevin, and Bob (with a little bit of "help" from the kids) made a Paper Rocket Launcher and the kids spent that afternoon launching rockets!

And, we celebrated Connor's birthday with Six Sister's Stuff's Black Bean and Corn Salsa Chicken Tacos, gifts, and cake!

On Thursday, Connor was able to pull out one of the gifts that Mimi and Bobbles gave him.  They had given him a circuits thing (I honestly don't even know what to call it, so let's just call it a circuits thing!).  Basically, it is a great gift for a future engineer!  Connor, Jeremy, and Bobbles played and experimented with it all afternoon and Connor LOVED it!  It was a big hit!  It is definitely something for him to do with his daddy because I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it!

And, of course, these three enjoyed each other so much (as well as Millie and Kyle)!  They all had such a great time together the whole week!
