Whew! What a Week!

Last week, I suffered from the dreaded stomach virus.  Connor and Kyle ended up with it, also, but thankfully, they seemed to get a milder version than I did.  We thought we had made it without Jeremy getting it.  Then, on Monday morning, he had to leave work sick!  He's feeling better now, as we all are, and he is heading back to work tomorrow (hopefully).  After a week of sickness, I am more than ready for the house to be GERM-FREE!  I cleaned the house top to bottom on Friday.  I Clorox wiped or Lysoled EVERYTHING in addtion to giving the whole house a good scrubbing.  I've now gone back around and cleaned most of the house again to some extent and will be scrubbing our bedroom and bathroom tomorrow (Jeremy's been quarantined there!).  Fun times at the White House!

So, due to the plague, aka stomach virus, I have not taken many pictures over the past week.  So, there's nothing much interesting to share, but since my last post did not include any pictures of our kids, I decided I'd post a few from yesterday.

The boys and I spent as much of the MLK holiday outside (and away from the germs of our house).  We went to the river for a walk (and rock throwing) on Monday morning.  The weather was so incredibly nice.  We ran into friends and played with them a little bit.  We had a good time exploring God's creation!  Then, MLK afternoon, we headed to the park to continue enjoy the beautiful day.  The next few days are supposed to be very cold, so I am so glad we had some time outside when we did!

I really didn't take many pictures and the majority were not worth sharing.  Oh well!

These first two are from a week ago (pre-plague).  Kyle was trying out his new pogo jumper.  Connor actually loves it the most, but Kyle is starting to get the hang of it and is so proud of himself!  (The helmet was not required by me to be able to jump, but he looks so cute in it!).

The rest are from the park yesterday.

And, this is how Kyle slides!

I am so thankful for these two!
