I know I have posted an unusually high amount of pictures of the boys swinging lately, but we have spent a lot of time in the afternoons playing outside and swinging! Paxton loves to swing and he will crawl to the door and whine until you take him outside sometimes. He loves being outside!
This may be one of my new favorite pictures of Kyle.
Paxton puts his hands in his mouth a certain way. Some kids suck their thumbs, he chews on his hands. He cannot actually suck because of his cleft right now, but he loves his hands in his mouth in a certain way. He puts the middle two of one hand and the pointer finger of the other hand and interlocks them in a certain way. He will not be able to do this for a few weeks after the cleft surgery because he will need to wear no-no's (wraps on his arms to keep him from putting anything in his mouth). This is going to be really difficult for him. Pray that he will find comfort without his hands in his mouth.
Paxton has learned how to climb on the train table!
On Thursday, we celebrated Kyle's birthday by going to Chick-fil-A with a few of his friends for cupcakes and ice cream. His birthday is next week, but with Paxton's surgery next week, I knew we would not be able to do anything with his friends next week, so we planned a small playdate for this week.
This is Kyle when his friends were singing to him!
