Atlanta Weekend

We spent most of our Spring Break hanging out around home and thoroughly enjoyed being home!  But, we were thankful that Jeremy was able to take Friday off to spend with us.  We left on Friday morning to head to Atlanta for a fun family day.  We arrived in Atlanta just before lunchtime.  We had booked a hotel near the Georgia Aquarium so that we could park there and walk everywhere else that we wanted to go.  We knew we would be able to park there once we arrived, but we didn't expect to be able to check into the hotel yet.  However, we checked when we got there and our room was ready, so we unloaded before heading out for lunch and the Aquarium.  We walked to a restaurant around the corner and then headed to the Aquarium for the day.

Everyone had a great time checking out all of the fish.  We really enjoyed the dolphin show, too.  And, Paxton did great all day.  He missed his nap to go and we thought he would probably fall asleep there, but he didn't.  He stayed in the stroller some and then I carried him in the Ergo for awhile, too.  He doesn't usually like the Ergo, but he did well in it.

After the Aquarium, we stopped for cookies and Icees on our way back to the hotel.  After a little snack and rest, we headed out for dinner.  We attempted to eat at a pizza restaurant that we saw, but it was closed for a special event.  So, we went to the BBQ place next door.

After dinner we headed back to the hotel for bath and bedtime after a long, but fun day!

On Saturday morning, we ate breakfast at the hotel and after checking out, we took a walk around Centennial Park.

Our final destination before heading home was lunch at The Varsity.  This was Paxton's first Varsity meal!

We had such a great time together and enjoyed our family trip so much!  I am so thankful for my four guys and I love spending time with them!
