Three times this morning I said, "Kyle, put on your shoes".  THREE times.  Once on the stairs, once at breakfast, and once while I brushed his hair.

When we got to his school (on the other side of town on class picture day when we are supposed to be on time), Kyle says, "Oh no!  I forgot my shoes!!".

After a quick trip trip to Old Navy (where he went through the store shoeless), we made it back to school just in time for his class picture.

Let's hope he doesn't smile like this in his picture!

Or this...

Oh, I love him so much!

That Smile!

I adore Paxton's smile so much!  Ironically, it is the part of his body that probably caused so much heartache for his birth parents because of the choices they had to make for his life and it is the part of his body that I adore the most because it forms the sweetest smile that makes anyone and everyone smile when they see it!

Playground and Water!

After speech, Paxton asked to go to the park, so I said yes!  We only had a few minutes before I knew Jeremy would call to go to lunch.  We played for a few minutes on the playground and then he saw kids on the splash pad playing and he headed that way.  At first, I said no because we were headed to lunch, but I quickly changed my mind and figured we could just run home really quickly and change if needed!

We definitely had to go home to change!!

When you are this cute, you get to play outside pantless!

I am so thankful for these three boys.  Each and every day, they bring me incredible joy.  I am so thankful to get to be their mom and that God put our family together so perfectly.

Events this week have reminded me of how grateful I am to be able to hug and kiss these boys every single day.

First Day of Spring

Today was the first day of Spring, so we decided to grab some donuts to celebrate spring and spend some time playing at the park!

Connor pretty much spent the whole time playing with Paxton and doing whatever Paxton wanted to do!  He was so sweet and such a good big brother!

Chinese Adoption Dinner

We are thankful to live in a community with a lot of families who have adopted, especially families who have adopted from China.  We were able to enjoy a night with some of these families with dinner, conversation, and lots of playing on Saturday night!

Paxton loved the trampoline!

So Much Randomness

Photo catchup...

When Daddy likes donuts more than cake, you "make" a donut cake for his birthday!
