I have been trying to post my favorite nine photos from each month at the end of the month or beginning of the next month, but with Disney I completely forgot to do my March favorites! So, better late than never...

When Mommy forgets your shoes when we go to baseball practice, you get to watch Mickey Mouse in the van. Oops! At least I had Connor and Kyle's cleats!
We missed two sessions of speech because of everyone being sick. Paxton was excited to go back on Wednesday and loved playing with the bubbles!
On Wednesday night, we gathered with some of Jeremy's work friends to have dinner and play badminton with one of their Chinese co-workers who has been working here the past few weeks. We had gone to lunch with him on Easter Sunday, so our kids already knew him and they were looking forward to seeing him again. He loves badminton, so we set up our badminton set for everyone to play and the guys had an "intense" competition without kids at one point!
Kyle had a good time throwing balls over the roof!
And, Paxton was really upset when the men played a match and he wasn't allowed to play!
Connor LOVES badminton!
It has been a fun week!

Connor loves to read! He has recently read the first two Harry Potter books in record time. He goes through books so fast! Today, he asked to read on the Kindle after school and he read an entire book from the Big Nate series in one short sitting.
“The more that you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”
-Dr. Seuss, "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut"
I hope that he continues to love books throughout his life!
Sorry, but I don't have any photos from this past week to share! None. I don't think I even picked up my camera. While we were at Disney, I came down with a cough. The day before we left for Disney, I felt achy and like I was coming down with something, but once we were there, I felt fine, but I had several days of a hoarse voice and I started a deep cough. I've had it for three weeks now, but overall, I've felt completely fine. Well, throughout last week, the boys all started coughing. On Monday night, Kyle couldn't sleep and later told me that his ear hurt, so I took him to the doctor on Tuesday and he had an ear infection. However, he got over it immediately and was fine. But, then on Wednesday, Paxton started feeling bad. He ended up with a fever for three days. Other than his stomach virus last year in Arizona, Paxton has not been sick since coming home other than a couple of runny noses that lasted only a couple of days each. He had never run a fever and had never had an antibiotic until last week. We are so thankful for his good health! And, we are so thankful that we were the ones who got to hold and snuggle him and comfort him when he felt bad last week!
Connor had state testing last week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It was so important for him to be well and be at school! He felt great Wednesday and Thursday morning, but when I picked him up on Friday, he did not look like he felt well. He did not have a fever when we got home, but I could tell he felt terrible, so I gave him Motrin. He felt better once it was in him. He was not 100% on Friday morning, but he seemed okay to go to school. I asked his teacher to let him know if I should come get him after testing (or before if he got worse quickly). Well, after testing, she emailed me that he said he wanted to stay at school and he felt okay. They were having an ice cream party and someone brought cupcakes, so I believe that was his motivation. However, when I picked him up, he looked awful and felt awful! I think he had felt well until about lunchtime, but he quickly went downhill, but didn't tell his teacher. He ended up having P.E. and having to run. Poor Connor! Because of the ice cream (and he didn't even eat the cupcake...he must have felt bad!), his stomach was hurting when school was over and as soon as we got home, he threw up! After some rest and Motrin, he felt better, but he continued running a low-grade fever through Saturday. By Sunday, he was feeling better!
This morning, I thought everyone was all well and we headed to school. But, after I dropped Connor off and headed to Kyle's school, Kyle threw up (all over the van)! He is fine now. I believe it was the drainage from his cough that made him feel sick. He said that he's been feeling sick in the mornings in the van and when I asked if it has just been since he has had a cough, he said yes. He came home and has been eating and playing all day! So, I really believe we are all on the mend!
And, I have cleaned the van thoroughly...including a trip to the car wash to run the mats through the mat cleaner after thoroughly cleaning them at home!
Hopefully I will snap a few photos this week now that we are doing more than watching TV and napping!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.”
1 Peter 1:3
“Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised— who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.”

While the rest of Augusta (and the world) was watching the end of "a tradition unlike any other", AKA the Masters, we were enjoying "a tradition unlike any other" for ourselves! One tradition for people in Augusta to experience during Masters week is watching the planes come and go from the local small airport. Sunday night we went to watch the airplanes ourselves!
These are goggle eyes...they help you to see better!
Our last day at Magic Kingdom started early! The park opened earlier than normal and the boys really wanted to ride Space Mountain. We didn't have a fast pass for it, so we figured if we went early we would be able to ride it without much wait. Because we had Paxton with us, we were able to take advantage of Disney's ride swap policy on the big rides that Paxton couldn't do. This meant that Jeremy or I could ride something with Connor and Kyle and we could receive a ride swap ticket to allow the other adult to ride with them later without having to wait in the regular line. You would go back through as a fast pass rider. Sometimes we would immediately swap, but sometimes, we would wait awhile or even til the end of day to take advantage of the swap. The boys got to ride twice as many rides this way without much wait!
While Jeremy took Connor and Kyle to Space Mountain (which they loved!), I took Paxton to do the Buzz Lightyear ride again. Later, we all rode the race cars together and then we split up again for Jeremy to take Connor and Kyle to Big Thunder Mountain and for me to take Paxton to the Barnstormer and Dumbo. Paxton was able to ride both twice and the big kids were able to ride Big Thunder Mountain. Unfortunately, Splash Mountain was closed for some reason that day and we were never able to ride it.
Because we went early, we were able to do several rides without fast passes without much wait. Later that morning we used fast passes on some rides and explored some more.
For lunch, we ate at the Beauty and the Beast Castle at the restaurant Be Our Guest. For dinner, it is a table service restaurant, but for breakfast and lunch, it is considered counter service (under Disney's meal plan), but you still have to book it 6 months in advance with a reservation! Thankfully my friend Annette told me the day before to order our meal online so that we did not have to wait in that line and we could immediately be seated to wait on our food! This saved us a lot of time.
After a few more rides, we realized that the crowds were getting super thick and the boys were all really tired. We decided to go back to the hotel so that Connor and Kyle could rest and Paxton could nap. After resting and napping, we headed back to the Magic Kingdom to take a boat ride over to the Polynesian hotel to go to our last dinner at Disney at Ohana.
After dinner, we headed back to the park to do a few more rides! We still had the ride swap passes from Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain and we were able to get a fast pass for Jeremy to take Paxton on a ride. After a few more rides, at close to 11 PM, we said goodbye to the Magic Kingdom one last time!
Saturday morning we woke up and packed up to head back home!
We had a great Disney World trip and we really enjoyed our time together during Spring Break! I adore our little family and love spending time on trips with them!
Thursday was our Epcot day. I honestly thought Epcot day would end up as a half day with us just going back for our dinner reservations. A lot of people told us that they did not really care for Epcot. Well, we loved Epcot! Connor and Kyle really loved Epcot! Unfortunately, it probably was not the most fun day for Paxton. There was only one ride that we did that he could do, the Finding Nemo ride, but he was such a good sport everywhere we went. The big boys did several rides and loved them. They were some of their favorite rides of the whole week! We ended up staying at Epcot for 12 full hours before we left!
This was our view across the lake to the Boardwalk as we walked to Epcot. The back entrance to Epcot was next to our hotel, less than a five minute walk! It rained all morning and we waited about five minutes in the lobby of our hotel to let the rain stop. Then, it never rained again all day! The clouds quickly moved out and we had a beautiful 75 degree day at Epcot.
Half of Augusta was at Disney World last week! At least 6 out of the 18 kids in Kyle's class were going to Disney plus his assistant teacher! We ran into a few friends throughout the week including Kyle's best friend at school, Wyatt! They were so excited to see each other at Epcot!
Paxton took a good, long nap in the stoller as we walked around the countries part and then continued it while we waited for Connor, Kyle, and Jeremy to do a ride.
